Pressed powder is in a compact, it gives very light coverage and it portable. Finishing powder is usually loose powder (keep it at home) used for setting your makeup, it is also very light to invisible coverage, but these days it can contain some sheen. Mineral Foundation is a loose or compact powder that has light to medium coverage that hides imperfections (so is powder foundation). Pressed powder is the compact, for touch ups easier to carry around with you. Loose or finishing powder has more of a setting effect a very matte finish. mineral foundation is different formula, can be a series of powders or liquid , sometimes powder alone OR even tinted mineral moisturizers. Minerals are for sensitive skin, sometimes powders can contain talc, which some people are allergic to.
You can put your foundation on first, then powder to set.
You put them on your face.
