There is a huge misconception about all mineral makeup being good for your skin. Almost all minerals on the market right now have fillers in them. Bismuth and talc can be found in most, including Bare Minerals. For some people this may mean nothing for their skin, as they won't react to it , but for others this can mean severe reactions.
Don't get me wrong, I use mineral makeup and like it. I just don't think you should be buying it believing that it's good for your skin. Bottom line: makeup is makeup and it's meant to be washed off before you sleep. What exactly is mineral foundation and why is it good for our skin?
it's a make up powder with good covering abilities.
the advantage is that is made without conserving or other chemical ingredients. that is why this powder can even be used by people who are allergic on most other make ups.
still, better take it off before you go to sleep. What exactly is mineral foundation and why is it good for our skin?
It's a powder made from pure, natural minerals and less or none of the artificial ingredients usually found in make-up.
Here's a link to a website which makes mineral make-up products - more than just foundation. It goes into a bit more detail to help answer your question.

It's an all natural foundation that uses naturally occuring minerals. If you think about it your skin is your largest organ and you slather lotions with chemicals on it every day. Certain chemicals are linked with cancer and other diseases. But some iron oxides (natural minerals) can be just as hazardous. That's why some aren't supposed to be used on lips because if you were to ingest them it would be a bad thing.
its made from minerals so even if you forget to wash it off at night it wont harm your skin.
im using bare minerals
