What's the difference between concealer and foundation (mineral powder)?

I know what they're for, I'm just wondering...is there a difference in consistency? To me, they're all just ground up colored powders and can be used for anything (eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, lip color, foundation, concealer), so why give them different names if they're all just colored powders? What's the difference between concealer and foundation (mineral powder)?
Nope, there's no universal difference in consistency between concealer and foundation. Concealer is normally just more opaque than foundation.

When it comes to powder anything, yeah some makeup is interchangeable, like using an eyeliner to fill in your eyebrows or something, but the only thing that you should be careful about is that sometimes it can only be safe to use as they're labeled. There could be ingredients in an eyeliner to make it last longer or be more suitable for staying on your eyes that could make you kinda sick if you ingest it. Same situation with a lip liner being used as an eyeliner, it could have ingredients that are able to be ingested, but could sting the crap out of your eyes.

It really does depend on the individual product whether it can be used interchangeably with another product though. Good luck! What's the difference between concealer and foundation (mineral powder)?
usually concealer is of a thicker consistency -- used to cover blemishes (i.e. acne scars, dark circles) its very anti-imperfection. powdered foundation is usually better for people with a clearer complexion that are looking for an even tone. liquid foundation is usually used for more coverage to cover imperfections as well.
